We've wanted a tamer BOD system for years.  Hard to do some of this kind of thing when scripters won't stay around.

I'm not sure that we really want to make pets much more powerful than they are now, however here's an idea, not quite a BoD system, but perhaps some quests could be created that upon completion you get a scroll that is redeemable to have a GM modify a pet for you. Maybe a +100 str scroll or bonus to skill or even resists. Obviously these quests would have to be very time consuming and difficult. We would also have to have overall caps on all stats and skills for pets, probably different caps for every level of control slots.  Just an idea.
