Title: Fix on Sitting Problem for Evening and Feathered Gown
Post by: Admin Acacia on December 05, 2006, 06:24:21 PM
This is a fix for the sitting down problem for the dresses mentioned.  Download the attached txt file,  Rename it to bodyconv.def
To apply simply edit your SH login on gateway by clicking the edit icon on your server list.  Scroll down till you see add file and click that.  Add the bodyconv.def to that and save.  Login as normal and they should be working correctly.

Thanks to Strade for his very hard work on our graphics issues.

Does the file need to be in the uog folder that it retrieves all the other files that are listed on the installed files list? When I try to add it to those files it doesn't show up at all so I don't know if I got it right.

Here is a step by step of what you need to do.

1. Download the attached file in Acacia's post.
2. Save the file to ANY folder, so long as you can remember where it is. (My Documents, UOGateway, and Ultima Online folders are all fine places. My file is located in My Documents)
3. Rename the File to "BodyConv.def"
4. Load up UOGateway.
5. In the My Servers tab click the little edit (paper) icon.
6. Scroll to the bottom and select Add File.
7. Select the "BodyConv.def" file from the folder you save it at earlier.
8. Scroll back up and select save.

If you have any other problems post em here and we'll help however we can.

You'll need to make sure windows is showing the full extentions.   It likes to hide known extentions at times.    The file that was downloaded ended in the .txt extention.  That needs removed.

Have you checked that windows is showing all the extensions as Strade said?

To make sure of that (and forgive me,I'm trying to translate my italian commands in english lol,so they may be a bit different) just open any folder and in the menu at the upper part of window go on tools>folder options (something like that) > the second tab there's a list of things to check or uncheck,be sure that something like "hide known file extensions" is UNCHECKED,otherwise uncheck it,hit apply then ok.

Then try to rename the file and see if it now works :)

If this doesn't works, maybe you forgot to save the settings before closing the uogateway after adding the file?

I'll try this too anyway,thanks strade ^^
