On a side note to Kev's question, Jewelers in US generally have more like 1000% mark up. The mark up on jewelry and furniture is outrageous.  I bought two gold rings from a relative that works for a jewelry store. I got them just above cost for about $40.  In the store they cost hundreds for the pair!  Talk about mark up.
