A slightly different take on the teleporters that are available, have a mall with actual vendors and their items for sale there. It'd be like one stop shopping!!

Aesa

We  have the  top of the Event Center full of vendor portals all with return tiles to the Event center.

He's already mentioned those teleporters Aesa, I think he is suggesting a custom plot where people can place vendors to sell stuff (kind of like when there was that Lakeshire festival and some players set up vendors on that one plot that Acacia placed (until someone pulled the Guardian Dragon and scared most players off).

Why doesn't someone just do this? I think it would be much more interesting if a player set up an area like this...

Think of it. Set up a good vendor mall in a nice location and have players rent vendor spots at reasonable prices. Oh noes! Now we have a business person making some good cash as well as a high traffic area that people will begin to want to have a vendor set up in.

Need I even mention the roleplaying value of a setup like this where staff isn't involved?

You really don't need a high traffic area to set up such a plot. Just pay the nice skyguds to place a portal to your vendor plot in the event center. As long as your vendors or the vendors that others place there are stocked considerably the portal won't get deactivated. You can place your vendor plot anyplace you like it then, although you may want to consider someplace reasonably safe so the patrons won't have to worry about getting attacked.

What Crimson says is true. You might end up creating your own high traffic area.

A central vendor location in Magincia was the original plan during the founding days of Sylvan Dream.   Staff discussed this quite a bit and, in the end, decided not to have that.    The reason behind that was our thoughts of trying to contribute to role play.

One place that is about as close to a  vendor area is the town of Paws, which is where the auction house is located.  We have many small houses there that are available for vendors in a one stop kind of area.  There are even more small plots available there is someone would like to put their vendors in that area, just page staff to purchase one.

Never be less than your dreams.
