Ancient  - 1 socket

Legendary  - 2 Sockets

Mythic  - 3 Sockets

Okay I see that the better quility the gem the more sockets it takes up. What's the cap on number of sockets an Item can have? thank you!

6 sockets if the item itself lists no cap.  Some items say like "4 sockets max".
