There will be a Craft and Conquer game this Wednesday at roughly 6pm EST.  In this event players are given 30 minutes to gather supplies and make armor and weapons and what not to equip themselves.  They then enter a castle and fight to last team standing.

Crafters AND non crafters are needed for this event.  Hope to see you there!

There will be an auction held Sunday September 13th at 3pm EST.  Save your pennies and be there to be some goodies!

This letter is to give my summation of what I have learned about the strange metal wire that was brought to my attention some days past.  My study is not complete but I did promise to keep you all up to date on what I know.

So far I have learned the following facts:

1.  It is dense and strong for its size but seems almost unnaturally flexible and light.  If it was in ingot or sheet form instead of this wire I theorize it would make the armor that the guard Remy spoke to me of last month.

2.  After some work with it was done it started to become resistant to the tools I was using on it.  Eventually I found that some small application of magic made it workable again.  I am unsure why this is.

3.  The metal started to break down after I had tried to temper it with heat and other such processes.  It is my belief that this current alloy is unstable or imperfect.

4.  There is some evidence that certain people might be almost allergic to this substance but this requires more study.  For now I chalk it up to the weak constitution of my assistant Pasquale.

5.  I have isolated a mixture of valorite, blood and what I think is crushed rubies so far.  There still seem to be at least traces of a half dozen other materials that I am waiting to name.

I shall send further information once I have learned more about this substance.  I eagerly await a sample of the raw ore to further my work.

A new beast roams the land, go ye forth and search for this bloody terror to conquer if you can!

Okay guys we are going to try once again to get things going with the RP on Saturdays.  I am aiming to have a session this Saturday at 2pm EST.  We are going to start with a whole new rp story since the last one was well, bogged down and a long time ago.

Anyone is welcome to come to the RP, no experience necessary and we will help out anyone who hasn't RP'ed before.  There are no sockets allowed, no high end pets (I will judge what is a high end pet), and druid spells are limited to certain in the RP uses. 

There is a post in the RP section called Reports from the Realm, please read that to get a little bit of an idea of where we are going with the new story.  Anyone who wants to take part please meet in the Lakeshire guild house at roughly 2pm EST.  Hope to see you all there.

Marnis shrugged to himself as he continued to look over his reports.  The tallies were off by a few but not too many.  Heck he normally lost more in the random thefts from his employees and he had accounted for that loss.  But something about the last few months orders were troubling him and he would be damned if he left before he could figure it out.  Chewing quietly at his pencil he looked over the lines again and again and finally it hit him.  All the losses could be found in a single smithy, strangely all his other businesses reported NO losses.  He knew just the man to talk to about this and he had been planning a long boat ride anyway...

The two men were slick from their own sweat and the sea.  Hard labor was nothing new but at least now they were getting paid enough that they didn't complain and that was new.  No words they shared for their new boss didn't leave off them long enough for either to become rested enough for spare words.  Still all in all they had it good.  Their strong backs were earning them three times what they had on the Vesper docks and they were doing the same work, just unloading the crates.  Still these long hours into the middle of the night were enough to drive a man to drink and strong drink they needed.  That fool captain would spend the rest of the night singing his tales and a man needed that drink to keep from killing him.

Ahoy Remy, we be needing to up the orders!  We can't keep up with the current demand and there is pay available for all.  Find me some new suppliers immediately and get me the goods man.  We will all be living like kings before you know it.

Lately I have noticed a lot of people asking in chat for staff to confirm special spawns, how to do quests, to yank players here and there.

None of these are what staff is here for so please stop asking for it.  Staff will often times pull players to the start of an event but if it has been announced and you have plenty of time it is your duty to get to the start.  If the staffer is kind enough to pull you remember it is just that, kindness and not their requirement.

Everyone have fun and keep dreaming the dream.

There has been a special tamable released to celebrate the 4th birthday of Sylvan!  It will be available for only a very limited time so get out there and get looking!

Another year has come and suddenly Sylvan's birthday is upon us again!  We have some surprises planned this week to celebrate it.

We have a new dungeon slated to open this week with a new special spawn. 

A goodie bag has been created and will be made available to players for the duration of this week.

There will be a Joust held Thursday starting at about 2pm EST.  Time is a bit fluid depending on how many people show up at what times.

And there will be a new tamable set free to mark the big day!

Okay guys I gotta cancel RP this week.  Most of my co workers are out with the black plague or something and I have to work all weekend.  Sorry bout that and we will pick it up next week.

Okay we are gonna give you tamers a chance to raise and train a fighter for the Fair!

All you have to do is page staff and you will be able to take yourselves a critter.  Only ONE will be given per account, no if's no and's no but's.  If you lose it you lose so take care with your critter.

Okay guys I am sorry for the lack of RP for the last few weeks, real life has been... hectic let's say.

RP will resume this Saturday at 2pm EST.  I am hoping to wrap up the current arc in the next 2 or 3 weeks so we can start a new one with a clean slate and fresh eyes.

Hello all, I just wanted to announce that we are making plans for the Spring Fair coming up in a few weeks.  Anyone with ideas for activities they would like to see take place feel free to post here or PM me or Caelan.

I would like to say that we are going to have a sort of competition for pets.  They will be judged on stats, skills, and overall coolness.  There will be creatures created just for the fair so that we know everyone is starting equal.  I will post here when they are available for players to tame.

There is a hue available only for the 17th.  It is on display at the HotM and costs 1 VS per item.
