Having an option to just mine stone with a shovel or even a special tool. I've had a lot of demand for stone lately and I just cant keep up lol.

Cool idea, better than getting it ranom from mining i think. Be able to mine it like sand froma desert or beach, or clay from a swamp. Get stone from a mountain side.
I prefer some resources to remain somewhat rare. If it were possible to mine only stone, I would vote for it to be with a special item that is more difficult to get than shovels.

That I would understand that you still want it to be rare, but to get them on random chance is kinda odd, lol.
