Wish List / Traps?
April 24, 2009, 02:03:07 AM
Well i don't believe sylvan supports factions and that's needed for making traps with tinkering. I was wondering if we could change the requirement for that? Cuz making traps would be freakn sweet! Everyone would be scared to enter my house then ^.^

Roleplay Discussion / Re: Saturday RP
February 20, 2009, 05:54:37 PM
((hehe, so I took the liberty of writing my own take on the rp events that happen on Saturdays. So, this is Bubbles point of view of the events. This is merely for entertainment value and it just amused me during my boring class to write something instead of taking a nap ^.^ ))

Icicle dagger
Snowflakes tumbled around a group of adventurer's and their breath rose in clouds around their heads. They stood around a strange green crystal that had spawned or drawn in hordes of ice, snow, and sapphire elementals. The monsters dead bodies now lay on the ground at their feet as the victors discussed what the crystal was and what to do with it. Someone called out for an arctic death dealer and Bubbles shook her head a little with a chuckle. That wouldn't end up well.

She stood behind the group and amongst some frozen trees. Her white gloved hands worked on bandaging a few wounds on her dragon Snowbella. The White Wyrm rumbled deep inside her belly, her eyes swirling with a light blue color. Bubbles smiled, Snowbella was always happy to be in her own environment. She had fought well and had been able to stand against the innumerable numbers of monsters. She was able to fight harder in this environment.

It was no different for Bubbles. She was at home in the freezing weather. The nipping air had an energy in it that seemed to seep into her bones. The rest of the group appeared to disagree with this for they were all huddled in the cloaks shivering despite the physical exercise they just had. An amused smile touched her lips as she looked over at Link. He had his head tucked in his cloak and leaned on his staff, shivering as he tried to follow the conversation with great concentration. She gazed up at the ice covered branches above. The light reflected off the shards of glass-like ice and made the bare branches of the tree glisten. It reminded her of Christmas lights but this light was more wondrous- more natural.

"Stand back!" A deep voice called and Bubbles blue gaze shifted back to the group around the crystal. Alan, who had been the one that called the warning, lifted the arctic death dealer he had found. The sun light caught the weapon and glimmered like the icicles on the tree, but there was a blue tint in this light that sent a strange feeling through Bubbles. The weapon quickly was brought down on the crystal. There was a loud crack but no chip or split in the surface. Then a deep moan started to reverberate from the crystal. It was low at first, but gradually grew louder and louder till the very earth shook. As the sound grew, a wave of freezing air emanated from it until eventually, the cold was so unbearable it killed and froze her companion's bodies in a second.

Bubbles gasped and backed Snowbella more into the frozen trees. She was able to avoid the deadly cold air but the frozen bones around it now glimmered with the strange icy blue. The task of reviving the others was now cast on her. She sighed, a little bit irritated at the chore-although it did make her feel more important in the group. Bubbles wasn't big on joining in on the "discussions," though she would throw in her ideas every now and then. It never got anywhere. Everyone wanted their voice to be heard or to suggest some idea the others didn't think of. It was like watching a dog chase its tail.

Of course, after she had finished her task, the group continued chasing their tail till someone suggested the ruins to the west. Ok, Bubbles had to admit, that was the best idea she had heard of yet so she followed willingly. It was only a group of stacked stones that would have been walls if they were higher than a foot. They poked around the ruins until Alan pulled out a shovel and started digging. Bubbles sighed and leaned against Snowbella, expect it to take a while till they found something, but it only took a minute till Alan gasped as he uncovered something.

She sighed and was leaning back into her regular bored stance when she saw what it was they uncovered. She leaned forward on her staff, eyes fixed on the object. It was a pile of bones, frozen in that curious blue tint that drew Bubbles attention away from everything else. The blue light glistening from the bones was not reflecting the sun light, it was coming from itself. It was wonderfully beautiful-but not natural.

Then she saw it. Clutched tightly in the bone fingers...was a dagger. It was cut like a diamond of pure ice and had a blue light from within. The light sent a strange feeling through bubbles, it radiated and glistened. It was calling- enticing her to come closer. She did not move though for there were too many people surrounding the bones. It was now that Bubbles intensely listened to the discussion. They had established that this was barely a clue and wondered whether to take it with them or to bury it again and come back to it. Bubbles voiced her support for burring and leaving and that was then decided on.

The frozen, beautiful bones were then covered with snow again. This sudden lack of sight made Bubbles feel uncomfortable. She became worried and distraught as everyone started teleporting back to the meadow. She turned and busied herself with Snowbella. She wanted to see the knife herself.
She wanted to answer its call.

The wind gave a shrill scream through the icy branches. It was quiet being all alone in the snowy wasteland. Bubbles approached the pile of stones slowly and started poking around in the snow. A great cold wind blew, that made even her shiver, and the bones were suddenly uncovered. She gasped and took a step back. The head turned towards her, its hallow eyes staring deep within her.

"You have come." A voice reverberated from the bones and Bubbles heart jumped in fear.

"Um..." She stammered, but something reached through her fear-her selfishness, she wanted the icy dagger or at least the bones, "y-yes, I came."

The hand holding the dagger opened and lifted towards her. Bubbles hesitated and Snowbella gave a worried croon behind her but the dagger was calling. The light shinning from it seemed to move frantically. It was so beautiful. It was her little diamond in the snow.

The dagger was in her hand before she realized it. The bones crackled and shook like icicles. A wind blew and the bones disintegrated in it, but it still cried out one last time:

"Let the betrayal begin!"

Roleplay Discussion / Buttercup Chronicles
October 08, 2007, 12:39:08 AM
((I have started to compile what I call the Buttercup Chronicles: funny name, serious story and if i get good reviews I will continue this. I have the first three books written at my house in the DoE guild town so I'll see how my first book does on the forums...))

Buttercup Chronicles
The Flickering Light

The warm, crackling fire danced in a stone fireplace in a small house. Two red curtains hung on either side of the fireplace with suits of armor placed in front of them. Bookcases and cushioned chairs had been situated in one of the corners of the room while boxes and a chest rested in the opposite corner. A maroon rug stretched across the whole floor, connecting the two opposite areas and bringing the focus back to the bright fire with a few wooden chairs snuggled around it.
The fire light flickered across the room and cast dark shadows in parts of the area. The glow was not as harsh on the female figure sitting casually in one of the wooden seats. She had short black hair and wore a green dress with lovely embroidery on it. Her skin was white as snow but in the warming light of the fire, it was barely noticeable. What was noticeable was her face, beautiful in many aspects with smooth skin and two bright emerald eyes but her expression was troubled. Her eye brows creased down and a deep frown was on her lips. Her jade colored eyes watched the fire intently, sometimes following a wisp of flame reach up towards the stone before it had to flicker back down. All the while she watched, the clock ticked endlessly on its place on the wall. It ticked away every second and minute, its hands constantly moving at a steady, unending rate.
Suddenly, a sound that came neither from the fire or clock resounded throughout the house. It caused the woman to jump at the loud bang and whirl her head towards the door behind her. A fright rose in her and she glanced to the sword beside her. With a shaking hand, she lifted her weapon and stood on uneasy legs. She inched towards the door and froze with her hand on the door knob. Her heart was beating wildly and she couldn't make her legs stop quivering. An uneasy breath entered her lips and she pulled the door opened slowly. Her eyes widened and her mouth opened, releasing a scream of horror that abruptly ended when a darkness came in and surrounded her.
