Trying to connect with Razor on my desktop (laptop works fine because it's only one drive, so default install) BUT my neanderthal brain is getting something wrong changing the cliloc file.  I have Sylvan installed on my D drive, in a folder called games, in it's own folder within.  The path SHOULD be D:\Games\Sylvan.  So on a 64 system the cliloc patch file should be changed to:

Correct?  Or am I misunderstanding something?

I might have suggested this years ago, and it may exist now (no idea honestly) but possibly an item similar to stag helm that increases thieving past cap?  Or decreases delay between uses?

So, maybe it's my 6 years of inactivity showing, but how do you complete Inside the Beast?  Do you have to complete the escorts? Or is there something I'm missing?

It had been years since last looking upon home.  They had been away adventuring in lands foreign and strange, guided only by their sense of adventure and sleeping under the protection of only their senses.  The one, looking human, but with keen senses and the aura of the wolf.  The other a felinus, now going gray, and with weary bones aching for home.  Would anyone remember them?  Would their homes still be intact?  Would they be welcome to the lands they once prowled and ruled?  Only time would tell.......

I find myself running low on Val.  I am in need of roughly 10k ingots (or more).  If interested in mining work or have a bunch of val to unload PM me in game.  I am a bit rusty on prices but I believe going rate at one time was 100k/1k stack? I am offering that or trade from my vast collection of things.

I am in search of the spell scrolls for the chaos magic.  PM Rei or Kalador if you have them for sale along with prices.

Most of us know we can sort certain items into bags with the [sort command (auments, reagents, armor, weapons, jewelry, etc...) and that there are storage containers for most crafting tools and required items but one area seems to be lacking from these...... cooking.  For example, if one cooks a lot they will need flour.  If you buy a lot of flour your bag gets filled with non stacking sacks of flour. I can see why they are not initially stackable because once opened the itemid changes.  Is there a way to make these bulk items either stackable, or have a container that we can store large quantities into?  To make it more useful these boxes can hold the various forms of meat, fruit, etc.... that cooks use to make their food. And what about scroll storage? I know the stack but after collecting for a while bags and boxes get cluttered.

As to sorting, is there any way to fine tune it to sort certain individual items that may be bulky, like flour, or generally hard to find due to size?  Similar to how augments and reagents can be sorted? Maybe even add scrolls to the list?

I've found some time to be online and did some taming runs and find myself over full with pets.  I have a lesser glacial, 2 green dragons, black dragon and toxic dragon.  I do know a rhino beetle location as well as a fire lizard location I will trade as well. 

For those unfamiliar with my bartering/selling practices it works like a pawn shop, you give me an opening offer and I either take it or negotiate.  I accept gold, atones/VS, rare items and taming locations.

This has been a long time coming but I am announcing it here so as many people as possible can see it.  I am stepping down as guildmaster of Marketvalle.  I have talked it over with various members I could contact and thought long and hard on who should take my place.  Ardin will be the new guildmaster.  Please go to the guildhouse and change your alliance to Ardin to formalize the change.

He had been spending less time at the treehouse, leaving more of the daily operations to Malik and the house maintenance to Kalador and X'ian, and more time at his hideaway.  It wasn't really hidden, just sort of out of the way from where most people would venture or assume a building like this to be.  He had intended it to be the start of a guild. Not a guild of light but a guild dedicated to the shadowy arts he had perfected years ago.  Two years ago it was, and for two years it has sat nearly vacant. 

This was where he spent a lot of his time now.  Writing his books on languages and pondering to himself on how best to spend the rest of his life.  Sis he really want to approach her about it?  Did he want it to be more than it was already?  He had already given her free run of the place and the empty room that was originally reserved for his long lost partner, taken again to the sea.  Always bad luck with women when it came to him.  It would go well for a time but then it would end.  So would it be wise to try again?  This is what he thought about now, in his room, sitting next to the fire. 

"You're just a stray now old timer" he had often told himself of late.  "Let her decide what she wants and just enjoy what comes"  He was glad nobody could hear him in his solitude, he had paid well during construction to keep his room a silent chamber to prying eyes and ears.  Contemplation took hold of him and he went deep into thought looking into the wall opposite him.  She was opposite the hall but he did not contemplate going to her, no he would always give her that privacy, no his mind went into the possibilities for the future.  Of the guild, his life, his friends, his family.  his mind always worked that way, always mapping out the possibilities so as not to be caught too off guard by whatever came.  It was an old trick he picked up early on in life to help never be disappointed when it mattered.  tonight he would contemplate, tomorrow he would move along with his life waiting to see what roads opened up to him.  He sighed, pulling a stick of sugarcane from a pouch and chewing on it as he let his old bones rest in the comfy chair by the fire as his mind worked ever so hard to chart the possible roads that would present themselves.  "Happy travels you old Stray" he whispered as he let his mind wander.

I have added to my display house a few items from my roof.  If you would like to make an offer on any item from the roof feel free to do so as some items there ARE for sale for the right price.  I also have a small stock of Flying Carpets in stock (blue and Brownish red) for sale as well and the price for them is negotiable.  My vendors will be restocked soon with the nice crafted shelf units that everyone loves as well as some little talking statuettes.  If there is anything you are looking for in particular that I do not have on display or on a vendor feel free to PM me and I can tell you if I can get it, how long it will take, and a price.

Kalador also wants to say he is still available to help get pets for people.  If you know where the pet is located and just need help he will likely not charge unless it is a rather difficult pet, but he almost always has some pets to sell also so PM him to let him to see what he has or what to tell him what you are looking for.

Any idea WHY the guild stones all disappeared?  I logged in to check some things before I left for the weekend and the guild stones are out.

Buying HCI and DCI crystals, both radiant and normal.  Offering gold or trade (artifact drops and steals) or even VS in return for these.

He sat alone at night, alternating from his home in the Vale, and his private room at the unofficial guild hall for ne'er do wells.  He would sit out in the open or near a fire, depending on what residence he chose to stay at for the night, and would contemplate the events of his recent life.  He had returned, alongside his orc travel companion, to Marketvale.  No real reason why other than to return home.  He had tried to form a relationship with an old friend who he did have honest feelings for, but she was the guarded type and he had let that thread go out to sea while he continued on with his days.  He spent most of his time 'collecting' rare and precious items and keeping the Vale as clear of invading dragonkin as possible, and was even granted the position of General in the militia.  Would that be enough to keep his mind centered here? to keep him from wanting to go again?  He knew the answer and that was what kept him awake and alone at night.  He knew the time would come when he would need to wander again.

He knew two of his closest friends here in the Vale had found each other and he was genuinely happy for them.  He would pick fun at them from time to time but he truly wished them well.  His family was still here too, at least his daughters and ex wife were.  Tai, his boy, had been out at sea for years and was unlikely to return home.  He knew where the boy was, Kalador, the orc, would check in with him at times, but he knew he was unlikely to see the boy any time soon, if ever again.  He had taken on some employees to help around the area, a dwarf and a surface drow, with making tools and equipment for those who needed it, but they were just employees and he held no real connection to them. 

This was a night for strong drink, so he opened a bottle of White Lightning he got some time ago from his friend and former leader of Marketvale, Rease Hunter, and took a long pull from the bottle.  He looked up at the portrait that hung on the wall in his private room and smiled, it meant a lot to him, as did the person who gave it to him.  "There I go again, day dreaming.  At least she is happy with him."  He raised the bottle to the portrait, still smiling, and took another drink.  He would wait for Inara to return to see where they stood and would move forward from there.  When last he saw her she was still battling within herself the idea of 'committing', even with as loose a definition as Rei had for the word with her.  Did he even want that? Or was he just at the point of not caring just to end the loneliness?  His feelings were true, as they always were, but he couldn't make out what was in his own mind at this point.  Things would work themselves out eventually, they always did. 

He took his bottle and walked to his treasure vault..... well not exclusively his, but he still thought of it that way.  A proper thief would walk off with everything here and be done with it, but he could never bring himself to do that.... He had principles and honor.  Truly he was an odd specimen, an expert thief and shadow walker, and more than adept with a weapon, but he could never truly be so cold as to take everything without giving the others a chance to take their share.  Finishing off the bottle he goes back to his private room to sit next to the fire once more and just think........ It was a long day and he needed the break....

Starting Monday I hope to start organizing and leading hunts to some of the harder area's in game to help our newer players, and our mid level players get some experience in these area's and maybe get some cool drops and gear out of the process.  You come along at your own risk of dying, so be sure to insure your items and only bring what you need in case you die and lose your items. 

I'm thinking for the first outing we would go to Fel Buccs Den.  It is one of the easier area's of Fel and I can get a group of people there fairly easily by boat.
