Hi! Some of you may remember that I had offered to do drawings of people's characters. Things got really crazy between attending conventions, working, and catching up on the actual paid art commissions, but I'm back on the ball and working on the character pics again.
I finished Kauri's a few weeks ago, actually (hopefully, he doesn't mind my posting it here)

Right now I'm working on Aesa's, and I'll be going on down the line of those who requested one. I just wanted to let you all know that I haven't forgotten about you :)

See, the problem with
actually posting a Chibi Thane picture is that once it's actually done, it won't be fun to threaten anymore ;D

Well, I finished Aesa's drawing! It didn't come out exactly as I'd hoped, but I guess that happens sometimes (most of the time, hehe). I have this problem of not noticing mistakes in the sketching process and it isn't until the later, less-reversible stages of the work that I realize "Wait... that isn't right"...

My apologies, Thane. Not so much for drawing you as a chibi, but rather for making you look like a deranged Harvey Birdman. If it makes you feel any better, a "real" Thane drawing is in the works.

Well, this isn't actually a character drawing, but I felt the need to show it off since it's the first piece I've done in what seems like forever that I feel I really got back to my usual quality of work (part of my doing character drawings was to help me break through a terrible artist's block).

Fantasy creatures are really my strongest point. One of the other reasons I wanted to do character drawings is to practice drawing humanoid-type characters, which has never been my strong point and which I've fallen even more out of practice with lately :)
So, I'll be getting back to character drawings soon. Once I regain feeling in my fingers after finishing this one. *collapses*
