Title: Another harsh lesson for me
Post by: Festus on December 16, 2012, 01:39:26 PM
Well as usual i found myself in trouble in a small cave in Ishnar.  This time however it was inocent and not intentional that i just ran into a hord of insta death.  I went in and was unable to find the exit in time to save myself.  As it turns out, to use the only exit you must run horizontally with the entrance steps and in the corner you can get out.  So my body is towards the back and I made many solo attempts to retrieve it to no avail.  I was assisted by another player who was also killed but did manage to salvage his equipment and body and soon we were joined by another player.  Both of those helping me performed valantly but alas I was unable to salvage anything.  To those that helped me I cant thank you enough for your time and courage as it was im sure very expensive for you to do what you did.  I will work to build another set of resist/hp armor and will repeat a couple quests over the next weeks and rebuild what was lost.  I guess the lesson for me is "never go into a dungon" unless there is a fair amount of people active playing.
I'll be back in destard I guess farming dragons and  porcelain and mining for val.  As for the stuff I lost the most missed will be my Sweet Val War Hammer and my fine Jewelry.  Again, all replaceable given time.
Thanks again to the brave souls that were helping me out.  *I honor thee"
