seems my computer doesn't want to open .exe files anymore (hates this comp so much) I can still access Uo by using the one click gateway link though but its a hassle to even get with it so might not be on for a bit.
What's the error or what happens when you do click .exe(s)?
When i try to execute something like firefox or even gateway it opens a what program would you like to open this with folder, to open the program i want i have to search for the program file to open it, kind of a pain in my rear... any ideas im open i have a few ideas but im in school till 2.45 in my Computer Repair A+ class (haha yeah i know im in a repair class and i cant figure out how to repair this just recently as well ive removed fake malware programs like Secure System 2009, Personal Guard 2009 and it wasnt till recently when i removed Windows Police Pro (or something like that) that this issue happened.
This was the fix for XP:
Open up my computer, tools, folder options. File Types tab (or similar)
new, type "exe" as the extension, and browse and use the type "application"
sorry to say that didn't work X)
little update as well when i right click my desktop to open propertys it gives me this : C:\WINDOWS\system32\rundll32.exe application not found
all is good now i managed to fix it after a few hits and then a lightbulb going off lol
Remember, the hammer fixes all.
