It's sad times where we even have to put guidelines such as these up - but we figure it's best to nip any problem in the bud before it ever takes root.. I've yet to see this place degenerate into truly poor behavior - but anything could happen so here we go.

[Discussion]Politics, Sexuality, and Religion. Nothing here, or in a galaxy far, far away, will more quickly get anyone more personally committed, resolutely defensive, or completely polarized than these three things. We're all intelligent people capable of discussing these three things rationally - but if we cannot maintain this intelligence/respect for our guild mate's then please choose not to conversate with said member. Do not badger guild staff with he said she said unless it is in violation of our guild or server rules.
[Language] Just be nice, please. We try to keep our language civil whenever possible, so please do the same. We're not going to flip out and ban you for using a "bad" word (though you might find yourself jailed for some words), but we ARE going to take issue to abusive language.
[Abuse]Abuse in any form or fashion will not be tolerated! No kidding. No joke. Any form of verbal threat or harassment will result in an immediate removal of your character here, followed by a report to Game Makers resulting ( possibly ) in jail time and or Immediate IP Address ban and removal from the Server.
[PVP] Always Ask Permission before attacking fellow guild members. Members found deliberately Killing fellow members without permission will be banned from the guild. The Scarlet Mercenaries are not liable for any loss of items etc. due to PVP.
[The Short Version] Don't be a dick...In general, we believe the members of the Scarlet Mercenaries Guild have proven that they know how to play well with others. So let's all just enjoy Ultima online and have fun while making new friends.
