The torrent link for the patch is not working at the moment, and I cannot find the torrent link for the main beta file.  Any chance I could get both torrent files so may try the beta / help seed?

Found the original beta file, torrenting now.  I can help test it on Windows 7, but alas I do not have Windows Vista.

Then again Windows 7 is practically Windows vista with 1 great addition.  It's a feature that Microsoft has left out of their Operating Systems since MS Dos.  Stability

um yeah, my friend Danton has a mac too but he can't play except when he goes home and uses his home computer now. I think he did some research on it and found it Mac doesn't support UO cuz Mac's like to be specific and monopolize on its popularity so they can charge its owners with every flippn thing but that also makes gamming on Macs stupid.
lol, sorry i went on my I hate Mac rant...

Interesting view.  Ever hear of Games for Windows?  It's Microsoft's method of enticing publishers to not release games on other platforms.  If a Publisher gets their product liscensed via Games for Windows they are in an exclusivity agreement.  A forced, cash laden monopoly.  Now granted, yes, Apple does rely on their popularity to drive purchases (and I cannot stand the iPod... god choke me every time I see the ads) but they do represent an interesting alternative to Windows Only machines.  You can't really run OSX, WinXP, Ubuntu, and Win7 concurently on your Dell/Hp/Toshiba now can you?

/Counter Rant Off/

Oh and gaming used to be horrible on macs, but the intel macs seem to have GeForce 9400's as a minimum now so that's kinda a non issue anymore.

Greetings all,

I would be the Mac using friend of Serenity.  It is a macbook '09 so it's a full intel machine.  I do have it dual booted with Windows 7 (which may or may not like UO) and I also have 2 Virtual Boxed OS's, WinXP and Ubuntu Linux.  I know I can make WinXP run it but I was looking for a proprietary solution as Virtual Box can be a little evil at times when networking, not to mention WinXP uses way more resourses than it reasonably needs to do just about anything.  As far as the other method your looking into, the Prime Minister would like to know.
