how do you harvest things like cocoa beans, and where do you get sacks of sugar? do you craft them, and if so how, cause no one seems to sell them.. and some of the custom things you make require them, can i get a little help with this please?

there are cetain animals like the bulls, that require grain or hay to be fed, where do you get his? i cant seem to find it, ive checked the farmers, provisioners, stable guys, in secvaral towns, the farms i found that its growing in wont allow you to pick it, so my pets go wild, please help if you can, thank you
