Quick question about hunger/thirst

Once you being to starve and dehydrate from the lose of food and water you begin to lose hp/mana/stam and it may be possible to die but I have not died yet. I am sure someone will be able to answer this tho

There were thoughts very early on about wanting to make extreme hunger and thirst bring about death on its own.  This was not instituted. The issue becomes that you do lose so much hits and stam that the least little thing, like tripping over a tree root as you walk, can cause you to die.  Well, you know, not litterally.   

I have seen many over the years who set up a macro to run, casting spells on themselves, and they  end up dying because of the hunger thirst factor.
