Razor

Has anyone successfully used razor on this server through uogateway? and further on windows vista? I downloaded the old version 1.0.0 of razor and set Razor? to yes in the shard info in uogateway, but when i run Sylvan Heart razor tries to load and then it says that razor has stopped working. I have razor and uogateway set to run as administrator. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What you have is likely a net 2,0 problem. Go to the Microsoft wesite and redownload net 2.0 and it should work for you. Make sure BOTH gateway and the shard are set to Razor yes.

Yup, I do. I had a similar problem, and I had the "Gateway cannot find client" problem, but reinstalled a couple of times and it started working.

This does indeed sound like a Dot Net issue.... although I thought you needed version 1.1 for razor.... but if 2.0 works then go for it!   However do note: I do not think version 3.0 or later will work    Beats me as to what's up with that, but hope this helps

Im not sure what is going on but i attempted to uninstall and reinstall and even prepair .net and it still errors and closes before UO opens. any suggestions? its very annoying not being able to use razor. beaver i feal your frustration with razor not wanting to work.

Guys I feel your pain, I've had this issue myself and the thing that worked for me was to install razor, try it, then go back and update net 2.0, then try it, then go back and reinstall razor again. I think once I had to do the whole process three times. I just chalk it up to my computer being tempermental. Hope this helps. Also make sure you are using razor 1.0, not the newer version.
