Freeze up during log in

I have been trying to log in for quite some time, and everytime I try I get stuck at "verifying account".. has anyone heard of this? Any answers out there?

Did you patch to OSI, if you did you'll need to uninstall UO and reinstall it without patching to the official OSI servers.

This may not be specific enough information to be useful, but if I remember correctly, I had this problem when I first started here and it turned out to be a patching problem. For some reason, UOGateway (which is what I was using at the time) was not taking some crucial patches.

Funny enough I have this problem myself. Sometimes it just takes a bit to load up, sometimes it's a brainfart from Gateway and I just restart it a few times.  The same freeze happens as I enter too (when it says you have logged in to Sylvan Heart).  Until someone can give a definate answer try the reinstall or just blame it on a gateway blip
