UO Crash Issue

I'm having an issue where UO crashes to desktop a short time after logging in. Sometimes it immediately crashes on login, and sometimes up to a minute or so later. I get a "client.exe has stopped working" message and UO closes. I'm running Windows Vista Home Premium (SP1) 64 bit. Has anyone encountered this problem before and found a fix for it?

 run it as  add min and go to propetys and click  on conpad bilty  an go to win xp

Thanks for that info.  That got me into the game but I'm still having the same client.exe has stopped working and drop to desktop only not as often.  Last night, Prosperity dropped and I couldn't log back in until she phased out.  Happened twice in Despise in a few minutes.  If anyone has any idea why this may be happening and how to solve it, I'd appreciate the advice.

This is an issue that has happened to me once or twice of late but I hadn't paid it much attention to be honest.  I was wondering if this is an issue on the server side instead of ours?

Thane, this has been happening to me frequently.  It seems totally random.  Would someone who is running Sylvan on Vista Home premium, 64 bit, copy the exact client compatibilities they are set to?  I need to compare what I have set.  I would sincerely appreciate it.
