how do i remove runes??

I tried useing the hammer of augmentation recovery and it says failed to recover augment...Plz if someone knows let me know...thank you =)

i was experimenting with different combinations on my weapon to see what worked best...plz someone tell me how to get em out of my weapon

You can't remove runes, they are the only augment that isn't removable. For this reason not many people use rune augments on their stuff. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

If I am not mistaken you can not remove logs from it either....

Easiest way to tell if an augment can come out of an item:

1) Use item identification skill on the item (you do not have to have any skill points in the skill to use it)
2) Click on each augment in the socketing gump.

This will tell you what each augment is, what it does, and whether it can be removed.
