I got friends who have never played UO, never seen it, barely know about it... BUT, then can tell you all sorts of trivia about it because I won't shut up till they have convinced me they committed it to memory.

...When you sit at work, about to go numb, and start trying to figure out what your coworkers are like at home.  You think you have the guy next to you pegged for a sit-on-the-couch-with-a-cat-and-a-newspaper kind of guy, when you hear him mention "game" to someone else.  Rather than thinking the Red Sox or Celtics -- which it was -- you suddenly think, "Ohmigod!  I could be sitting next to Norhand!!!!!!"
