And through the portal came the rangers.

Tanth

It was late at night when Tanth tentatively stepped through the portal leading from the Alderam.  He was standing in a meadow in what appeared to be a small quiet city.  He could hear the surf from all directions indicating he was on an island.  Unsure on the disposition of the locals he quickly hid within a small building which itself housed several portals.  This was always the risk one had to deal with when exploring the portals of the Alderam.  Deciding he needed to get out of the city quickly he jumped through a portal to what looked like an outdoor wedding chapel surrounded by very large trees.  He needed to setup a base if the Guard was to setup a base of operations on this world as well.  After a short jog south west along the coast it occured to him that this area was seldom traveled and yet was still close enough to the city he had just fled from. From here he could easily rally the Sundered Guard and make a home.

lourdzep

Standing in front of the portal, Lourd Zep felt a chill run down his spine.  Sensing great adventure and danger awaited him in the world on the other side.  Here is where the trail ended, it must pick up on the other side.  Traveling through the portals of the Aldarem always turned his stomach, but as usual he had to go where the trail led him.  Stepping through the portal his world suddenly lurched crazily, the now familiar rush and vertigo slammed his body.  Then suddenly he was through to the other side.  After taking a few moments to bring his queasy stomach under control he finally started to examine his surroundings.
Lourd stood in the middle of a clearing inside of a city.  A look of disgust passed across his face.  He would never understand how people could cram themselves in these abominations of nature.  He hoped fervently that this was not where he would find his quarry.  After a moment he picked the tracks that he was following out of the myriad other tracks littering the ground here.  Frowning he noticed they led inside a building, to another portal!  "Ugh, I hate these stupid portals!  I wish he would stop just running through em all willy nilly!" he thought.  After stepping through a smile crossed his face.  He found himself along a coast, with a few trees and the only structure was what appeared to be a small wedding chapel.  Picking up the trail once more, he traveled southeast along the coast, in the distance a large building could be seen.  Approaching the building he saw the insignia of The Sundered Guard on the outside of the building.  "So this is it.  Not too bad, better than in the city for sure." he said to himself.  Upon entering the hall, he saw a figure seated at the far end of the hall, cloaked in shadow.  Slowly he approached, a wide smile spreading across his face, "Greetings Brother, it appears as if you have been quite busy here..."

Tanth

*chuckling to himself*

"You could say that my old friend."  Tanth stood up and approached the ranger taking his hand and shaking it vigorously.  " It appears that on of this worlds Goddessse, Gaia, directed the Alderam to here.  We should gather the others and help to bring this land back into the natural balance."

Frosty

The large man stumbles never been found of travling by Porthole. Fosty looks around to get his barring and shuges thinking to him self that way looks has good has any outher. and set off to see and do what the world offers.

Laatho

A dog strolls down the streets of the busy city, following a beautiful lady in blue. For a second, he turns into a young man with long brown hair, clad in red and green armor. Laatho has arrived a few hours ago, experimenting with this lands magic. But he vanishes in an instant, leaving a little bunny in his place. Then the bunny becomes two, and they chase eachother around the ankles of a blue horse.

Morwen Aldarion

"Greetings Laatho!" she exclaims as she sees the practicing ninja prance around the feet of her mount.  She began to reminisce about the days when she was new to the lands and excitement surged through her as she left behind the home her parents had abandoned her in.  How refreshing, she thought, to be surrounded with the energy of youth.  While she herself was still only in her 20s, she felt the druid spells she used on a regular basis aging her beyond her years.

Morwen's mind turning from her thoughts to her surroundings, she noticed that once again she was standing alone in the meadow.  She knew that in these lands you were never truly alone, and so began to dance to express her gratitude for the presence of the skygods.

Ashindai

Ashindai breathed a sigh of relief as her feet once again found stable ground since her step through the Aldarem.  Opening her eyes, she gingerly peered about, stepping lightly across this clearing she seemed to have found herself in.  "Hopefully I'm in the right place here, I mean, he really could have given better directions," Ashindai continued to mutter to herself until the sound of fast approaching foot-falls caught her attention.  Suddenly remembering to take proper cautions in this foreign land, she hastily retreated to the nearest shadows - behind a rather tiny dwelling - where she waited with bated breath.
