Randomly turning grey?

Well, maybe not randomly. A lot of the time, after killing MOBs, I turn grey and can't recall. Any idea why? I'm not using AoE spells or anything.

If you have a pet and you loot something the pet killed without your command that will turn you grey.

What type of character is this happening to?
Bard?
Mage?
Warrior?

How are you killing the mobs?

Are you killing them alone or is someone else around killing things too?

Was Link on in the game while you were killing things?

I blame Link!

Where were you hunting? I know places like Terathan Keep there are rival mob wars going on and if you loot something that another mob killed first you will turn gray.

I randomly turn gray, but a little Miss Clarol fixes that right up.

BTW, don't think I ever knew about that pet thing... interesting.

Yep, pets that kill stuff without you telling them to will make you go grey if you loot what they've killed. Simple solution is to wait for the kill to go blue, but who wants to wait?

Now, if I can figure out who Cadbury is in the game, I see a rat in his future...
