"Chibi" is a Japanese word that can be loosely translated to "little". Often, adult anime/manga/celebreity characters are drawn in a highly-exaggerated, overly-cutesy, child-like way, often for comedic effect or just to be cute and fans have taken to calling such drawings "chibi-style".

True.  Well at least for me anyway.  I find the fact that Thane is about as anti-chibi as one can get to be my main draw to seeing Thane in chibi form.  (my sig pic is chibi style as well as Aesa's and Mana's sig pics).

The person below me, now knowing virtually everything there is to know about the Thane chibi craze, has joined us in our rebellion against him in wanting to see him chibi-fied.
