Tinker made tools

I got GM tinkering. Problem is that if i make tools for mining or fletching they are still basic "50 uses remaining" tools, and never get any exceptional tools. Is it supposed to be like this? Is there any other way to get high use tools?

Yes it is working as intended, if you wish to make tools with massive uses then make the adequate crafting tools (lots of them), get a tool chest and put them all into the tool chest to make a single tool with as many uses as the combined number of charges to tools you put in do.

If you had 10, 50 charge fletchers kits then you can put all ten into the tool box and pull out one kit with 500 uses on it :-).

That is how you get massive usage kits :-)
