Well just 3 days ago my computer decided to go on vacation. I received the blue screen of death, which Karina said was nothing at first. I rebooted my computer only to find it wouldn't boot up. Soooo, until Karina figures out what the problem is I won't be able to use it. There is still Karina's computer that I can use, but she hasn't made any progress in getting the shard to work properly on it. And there is also my laptop, which is a Mac, but it's kinda slow and I'm not sure how to get UO to work on there either.

I'm sure she will figure out the problem on my computer in no time, but it may cost some money to get it running again. Depending on how much it will cost us will determine how long I'll be away. I know I recently logged onto my account a few days ago, but its been a while since I've logged into Karina's for her. If someone could check to see how long ago its been I can let you know if I should put a hold on her account or not. Also if someone could save me any holiday shinies that may be given out for this Memorial day weekend I'd appreciate it.  :)

I'll be putting Karina to work on my computer just as soon as she gets home from fishing with our daughter hehe. And maybe it will be fixed sooner than I anticipate it to be. I'll keep you all updated once I find out what is wrong.

Do you have XP or Vista?
If so, do you have System Restore on?

When your computer receives a BSOD error, or otherwise general error while running, you should get the option "Fix errors" when you start your computer.
It should be on the same screen as the "Your computer did not shut down properly blah blah blah"

Do a system restore to the last or several restore updates. Note ONLY do this if you have it on regularly.
