Isalentia

Ice island lands were a treacherous and snowy peak that only promoted sheer hell. It left little for survival unless you were rich, evil and certainly smart to handle a place as it.  The will to live was within Isalentia as she trekked thru the snow. Depending upon snow to liquefy her mouth and no food her only hope was that she’d die out by sea then here at the hand of corrupted individuals.

Through the blizzard Isalentia found a small fishermen boat and stolen it from the untended pier. Despite her own curiosity she often looked behind her to be sure Syndicate goons were not after her, an ambitious to bring her back. When all was convinced she was free she pushed the boat into the waters and began paddling out into savage waters.

It was true that once off land the cold winds were defiant and chipped at her face. Causing her to cry at such voracious winds, with no items to stop its blow it hit her hard and sent the ship to spiral like a whirl pool making it hard for Isalentia to paddle. Like the never ending conflict of time, strength and spent energy the current of water, winds simply shoved her in unknown territory. Isalentia just couldn’t keep up and eventually passing out in the boat. You would think it was her time to die â€"yes?

“Isa, Isa…” Rayne’s voice had aroused Isalentia’s unconscious slumber.  Those sea-green eyes looked around the home of the soon to be Mrs. Hunter. Things had certainly changed in her imprisonment absence.

“Rayne….” Weak voice spoke the recognizable name of her very best friend.

“Rest Isa, don’t exert yourself you suffered tremendous wounds. Lucky some fishermen boats found you or you’d been lost to water serpents. “Explained Rayne, who kept running her palms in am motherly fashion over Isalentia’s head; comforting her in the time of recovery.

Small triumphant smile that was barely wide enough to notice was spread on those voluptuous lips just before Isa’ again passed out.

Recovery was slow but eventually Rayne found the right remedy to heal her friend and Isalentia was once again stable.  During her time of rest within the Hunters home, her hosts took liberties to prepare their Château behind their castle as a gift for Isalentia. A humble gesture to get her back on her feet since Vendim and her separation, an the burning of her other small home â€"Isalentia was virtually without proper home.

Rayne escorted Isalentia to this place and expressed genuine regards to take the Château as her own home. It was a beautiful place and held fantastic eloquent quality that just satisfied Isalentia’s appreciation for it becoming hers.  Rayne was determined to keep Isalentia very close to her and not allow her best friend to be conflicted by enemy hands again.  Isalentia truly appreciated such loyalties that her friend provided.

Naturally the conversation came over Vendim. He of course played the element of concern over his amnesia. Isalentia found that what Talon told her was true that Vendim lost his memory of her. It was excruciating to hear of this.  With this dire news Isalentia promised herself that she would not try to make him remember because there was just too much pain between them and it was best to move on.

Getting the Château was invigorating enjoyment it held with it the responsibility of starting over, which meant with her wages earned from the employment under Rayne, she could start spending money at the deco mall, at Mag.  During her visits to town she met someone by the name of Alek Zachary. He was kind enough to help Isalentia carry some of her bought items back to her home.
Alek was very intellectual and that would best describe why Isalentia began to appreciate his company.  After helping her, he continued to stop by and they’d go out and do the necessary small things for Marketvale. Cutting trees together and laughing, collecting wool and atonements and handing such items over to Rayne, the town’s official managerial woman. It was such little things of spending time together they started to show interest for one another.

She spoke little of her past, an Alek didn’t over step such bounds, nor did he expect her to wear her issues on her sleeves. They just appreciated building a better town and talking. How they talked, sitting at the table were he would tell her many things that made her smile.  It was at one of these nights before he left to his home after dinner she made; if she’d accept him to court her. A formal tradition to sort of date and get to know one another.  A noble thing to do…..

As often as she could Isalentia brought Alek around the area. Showing him the many beautiful things that these lands had to offer them; she always smiled watching him immerse in the historical importance of some places. It so happen that today Alek and Isalentia attended the Auction.  It was the one place that she didn’t anticipate seeing Vendim again. It had been so long since she’s laid eyes on her past that it was hard at first.

She didn’t say a word to Alek, nor did Rayne say anything to her; and Isalentia was proud to see that Vendim was still in good health and amongst friends. That was a sure road to healing. One that she wanted for Vendim thru all that has happen.  He’ll always have a place in her heart and memory and with that final stepping stone over Isalentia resumed her new beginning life with the optimistic step forward with Marketvale, friends, and Alek and survive. Who could ask for anything else?

Shadow Clan

Massive Temples were scattered in the lands. Within the walls of Aerynth's largest city, Redemption, all seemed peaceful, all seemed right. Evil would sit at bay, and if it dared try and cause any chaos, the Templar went out, and clensed the evil. Alek knew little about the clensing, and just knew that once the clensing was performed, that particular evil would never harm anyone again. All would seem good and right, yes?

A band of Fae magi would assault the castle of the Order of the Clensing Flame, one day. Alek was confused as to why. Templar fought the Fae outside the walls, though a select few managed to get inside. Alek found them in his mothers chambers, and rushed to her aide. There was no danger, though they glanced at Alek with disgust. Alek fell asleep, unexpectantly, and when he awoke, he was before a council of the Order. His father was already slain, and his mother was in chains. He slowly rose, and his judgement began.

His mother was exiled. Her magic was too powerful, they could not bring her to execution. She too was Fae, but this secret was not only kept from the Order, but from Alek. Alek's father was killed for this reason. Clensed by the Templars by flame. On this day, Alek learned the truth behind the clensing, and learned they had attempted such on his mother. She was too powerful for it.

Alek was too be slain as well, but his dormant magic within himself rescued him. He fled the castle, and went off on his own. Even though he survived by magic, he was confused. He did not know his mother was Fae, still never told, and went on his journey's, to try and stop the Order.

The stench of blood filled the air. Alek was on the run. He had been on the run for quite some time. A band of Rangers, called the Guardians of Aerynth, led by the family Trynthlas, had been all but exterminated by the "clensing" of the Order. He had learned much from their ways, and as sad as it was, he would never be caught with the speed he now possessed. His flight carried him over a mountain chain, and to a dock, that would carry him to new lands.

In those new lands, he could not even escape the treachery of evil. The Order's pursuit had been stalled, but the minions of Morloch were in force in these new lands. They had been assaulting the city of Ascalon, in the lands of Tyria. He helped as best he could, but the Order's pursuit forced him to move on. The stench of blood always wafted in the air, wherever he went. He wondered, if the Order just killed the demons of Morloch, or the citizens of Ascalon as well.

The march of soldiers in white and red platemail kept him on the run for years. A red beard had grown on his chin, in his constant escape, and he had endeared a "title" from those that pursued him. Barbarosa he was called. The Judicator. It became so widespread, that scouts had wandered to towns, before he arrived, and left notice for people to keep an eye out for him. The White Mantle guards of Lion's Gate were hired by the Order, to aide in their hunting for him. He was eventually forced to flee Tyria, and wandered for what seemed like ages.

After his wanderings had brought him to Brittania, to the lands known as Magincia, he felt the weariness of his travels truely begin to weigh on him. He yearned to halt his flight, though knew if he held still for too long, the Order would catch up.

He met up with the woman known as Isalentia. He thought her quite beautiful. Who wouldn't? Her company was truely comforting, and due to such comfort, he would keep himself in her presence, as much as he could. Their friendship quickly turned to romance, as confessions of love were uttered in the Tavern of MarketVale.

The Order's pursuit seemed greatly delayed, and for a spell ... he wondered if he had thrown them off their track. He wondered, if he was finally rid of such tribulation...

Isalentia

“Days feel like years when you’re alone but
then life has its way of taking a tide for the
better making days feel more accomplished. “
                                         Quote by, “Countess Isalentia”

Tree’s outside were rustled by the mild breeze sending the fragrance of the world outside into the windows of the estate.  It made the day of moving in all the more memorable to the Countess when she took an inward breath to experience that summery feeling. Of course, it instigated that wanton desire to go outside and garden but at the current moment she was distracted instructing hired hands where to place the furniture in the newly built home. One of the items within this house that caused Isalentia to reminisce was a singular gold mask.

“..a Rayne it finally happen,” she stated in a mere whisper in the duration of setting the golden mask on the shelves.  The wedding had taken so long in preparations and there were times that Rayne was so overwhelmed, Isalentia almost thought her friend would pass out in exhaustion.

The bridesmaids (Biki, Faethera, Crim) were all in the same designed gowns; accept Isalentia’s whose maid of honor dress stood apart. Yet, they all wore the same mask. The groomsmen were equally decked out for the occasion (Rei, Shadow, Kamui), accept of course Thane being the best man; they to had masks. The wedding party was certainly eye catching from Rayne’s exceptional planning.

As for the bride Rayne was absolutely stunning, her gown just radiated with the hue of a happy bride-soon-to be.  The rehearsal planning was brilliantly conducted by the priestess Acacia who would serve to marry the couple in holy matrimony; Cid who was asked to be the one to give away Rayne.

Rease was funny that day Isalentia recalled â€"wanting to smoke so badly because of his nervousness. What was so bemusing to the Countess was that no one in the waiting room smoked, so what did the nervous man do? He collaborated by rolling up parchment and smoking flower petals off the arrangement. Isalentia thought he was going to pass out but when the time came he certainly was able to come through. Even manage to show up and walk down the isle.

Many people came to the event, a lot of faces that Countess had never really seen before but there were a lot of familiar ones; such as Vendim.  She enjoyed their conversation and was happy he was inspiring new things in his life. Isalentia wanted the best for him and hope he would know she supported him as a friend could.

“Countess where is it you’d like this…” the hired man spoke up asking were to place the kitchen table.  This drew Isalentia out of her reminiscing and she turned about to guide them across the room to the kitchen area. The estate was becoming more visible to her hard work. A smile of appreciation grew to develop on her full-body lips.

The estates location was on the outskirt of Marketvale embedded into the woods; which allowed nature’s bountiful radiance to help illuminate the choices of colors used to help bring out the décor’s hues, Countess chosen these colors to play part of both her and Aleks love for nature.

Alek Zachary was becoming more influential in Countess love life, so much more that their courtship now moved them in the path of having him move into the estate. She had been so lonely but he continued to change her heart drastically.  They seem to be perfect for one another, always hunting and working as a team. It was nice because he always encouraged her ambitions, especially to have guested over for dinner.   There was no talk of marriage it was just a good healthy relationship taking a day to day of learning one another, an Isalentia liked that.

Aside from her best friend, and new love in her life a lot of things were in the shift for change. Isalentia was promoted to be part of the Town Officials; her duties were still yet to be dispatched from Lord Rease, of course, due to the wedding he was distracted from political decisions. The new Mrs. Hunter and Marketvale General had informed many that there will be a militia to towns meeting this day. Isalentia was anxious to learn what new tactics would be implemented, or who will be in training to replace her during these times? Marketvale was thriving and its people were very happy with it and with it life was finding stability with everyone in Isalentia’s life. It was indeed a joyous February..
